One practical note on timing: European summers (June through August) offer long days with golden hour as late as 9–10 PM in northern destinations — an extraordinary advantage for photography. Spring (April–May) offers wildflower meadows and fewer crowds. Autumn (September–October) brings harvest colours in wine regions and warm light that is arguably more cinematic than summer.
